HEY EVERYONE... LEO HERE! REMEMBER ME?!

Yep, it’s ME — Leo!

I’m the little guy who came to Paws for Julia Rescue after having a pretty crazy and scary start to life. Someone did something absolutely horrible to me and stabbed me 9 times.

But guess what?!

THEY DIDN’T BREAK ME.

I was one VERY lucky little guy. I got the medical care I needed, lots and lots of love, and now I’m healed, healthy and ready for the BEST part of my story...

FINDING MY FOREVER HOME!

So let me tell you a little about myself!

My name is Leo, I’m about 2 years old, and I’m a Terrier mix.

I’m good with people
I’m good with other dogs
I’m house trained
I’m crate trained
I LOVE to explore
And once I pick MY person... oh boy, I LOVE my person!

We are working on that last part. I tend to cling to one special person and think, “Yep, this one is MINE!” But I’m learning that there are lots of good people in this world and I don’t have to choose just one person to trust.

Now about those things called CATS...

I don’t really mind them.

BUT...

If they RUN, I might chase them because apparently they have accidentally activated my “WOOHOO, THIS IS A GAME!” button.

So my new family will need to keep working with me on that.

After everything I’ve been through, you might expect me to be angry at the world.

But I’m not.

I’m ready to explore it.

I survived something no dog should ever have to experience, and now I just want what every dog deserves — a family, a safe place to sleep, adventures, love and the chance to finally know...

I’M HOME.
