Gigi has a special story.
We went to get her pregnant sister, Raspberry, and two other pups that had spent 2 years outside in a pen, one late night before a very bad storm.

We went to pick them up... and came home with GiGi, too.

GiGi was locked in a bedroom, bc "she walked in circles"-
She had never stepped foot outside.
I begged to meet her, so I could assess her needs.
I originally considered her to be blind, bc her steps were so off-balance.
I offered to take her to the vet and help her in anyway I could.

After x-rays, it was determined her eyes, hips, and spine were perfect!

However, her knee cap was on the outside on her leg- which required a risky surgery. Without the surgery, she would always have a weak shorter leg-- which would cause lifelong issues.
We opted to try the surgery (and amputate if needed). LUCKILY, THE SURGERY WAS A SUCCESS!

Right after thr surgery, GiGi was walking briskly IN A STRAIGHT LINE!!!!
She is still breaking the habit of walking differently, and she's improving every single day!
It truly breaks my heart to think she didn't see daylight, feel grass, or hear the birds chirp until she met us.

We are so grateful our vet figured it out and did such a great job! (No further knee surgeries are needed.)

After she healed, she was then spayed.

GiGi is a very special cuddly girl.
She is quirky, odd to pickup, and can scream like a high pitch little girl lol, but she has come a long way and will make someone a wonderful companion!

SHE HAS THE CUTEST BIG EARS!!
