Rat Terrier and Mixed Breed Dogs Available for Adoption in Ellicott City, Maryland

Meet Valentine, a 25 pound rat terrier (we and chat gbt think) mixed breed 1-2 yr old who found herself in a kill shelter in Texas with her family of 6 newborns. She is so gentle and just wants to be loved. The puppies are old enough for adoption and now it is Valentine's turn.

Valentine still needs to be spayed by our vet so she is looking for a foster home. Can you help? We provide everything you need, you provide the love and cuddles.

PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing or "inquiring" is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative, heartworm test if age appropriate and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.

We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment
