Tammy is one of 5 dogs that were surrendered to our rescue when their owner had to be taken to a nursing home. They are all decompressing at the rescue and learning how to trust others. Tammy is very shy and timid. When she first arrived, she would hide in the corner. Now she runs out to eagerly greet her foster mom.This girl appears to be a rat terrier, Jack Russell Terrier mix, about 2 years old, and weighs about 14 lbs. Tammy gets along fine with the other dogs in the rescue. We have no idea how she is with small, young children. May 21 is her spay, chip, vaccination appointment and she'll be ready to go after that.
