Tatter's story is one of resilience, transformation, and discovering how wonderful life can be! He arrived in rescue with his family of 13, who had only ever known life outdoors. We quickly realized Tatter felt a heavy responsibility to protect his family, making him the last one to bring down his walls and allow anyone near for affection. But after arriving in his foster home, sweet Tatter quickly learned he didn't need to carry that weight anymore! Now, he absolutely loves his soft bed and willingly comes looking for belly rubs and affection.

While he can be a bit cautious when meeting new people at first, once he feels comfortable, he is just a sweet little guy looking for a loving home to call his own. This 2-year-old Pug mix gets along wonderfully with humans of all ages and dogs of all shapes and sizes! We are unsure of cats, so slow and proper introductions would be best.

Tatter does well in a kennel, but he is also trustworthy and does great having his own space when needed. He will just look to his new family for gentle, patient guidance as he learns his new potty routine. Tatter is 2 years old, neutered, microchipped, and current on all his vaccinations.
