eryone meet Mortimer, the sweetest little black pug you'll ever lay eyes on!
Mortimer is truly as gentle and loving as they come. At around 7 years young and just 13 petite pounds, this little guy is on the thin side, but what he lacks in weight he makes up for in pure heart-and he definitely still has plenty of pep in his step!
He is an absolute social butterfly:
Dogs: Does phenomenally well with pups of all shapes and sizes.
Cats: Cool, calm, and totally unbothered.
Humans: His favorite! Mortimer adores people and will gently lean in to seek out all the cuddles, pets, and affection you have to give.
Mortimer's journey hasn't been easy. He found his way to rescue under heartbreaking circumstances after his owner sadly passed away at home, leaving this poor little guy cruising around solo and waiting for someone to help. Despite everything, his spirit hasn't wavered for a second.
He's ready for his second chapter, starting with a fresh makeover! His teeth are pretty dirty, so he's scheduled for a full dental cleaning tomorrow (November 2), where the vet will also help confirm his exact age. Once his pearly whites are all polished up, he'll be ready to bring endless snuggles and pug wiggles to his forever family.
