Nyomi is a 10 month old female Pug mix that came in with her sister Natalie. They had been wandering on their own before someone called the Dog Warden to get them to safety. Both are very sweet with Nyomi being a little more reserved while her sister Natalie takes charge! Both seem very smart and would make excellent additions to a family wanting a small to medium sized dog. Nyomi weighs 27 lbs. You will notice a fluid sac on Nyomi's elbows. This is known as a hygroma. This is a painless, fluid-filled pocket that forms when repetitive trauma and pressure (usually from lying on hard surfaces) causes the body to create a protective cushion over the bony joint. This will be absorbed by the body when she has a soft bed to sleep on. This is not a medical concern or problem.
