Meet Ziggy!

Ziggy is a bundle of contradictions, and she'd like you to love her anyway. She's confident and insecure, happy and scared, loving and a little wary, sometimes all before breakfast. She's a social butterfly with her people and other dogs, and she'll happily sprint alongside any dog who takes off.

Toys? Not really her thing. Real, live dogs are the only toys she needs. She was slower to warm up to our Goldendoodle, who is four times her size. Can you blame her? Strangers are another story. When someone new walks into our home, Ziggy sounds the alarm and keeps barking until I pick her up. Then she chills right out, like nothing ever happened. Once she decides you're safe, though, you're in. She wants to be right by your side, 24/7 she's all pug.

On walks, she's just beginning to learn how to walk on a leash. She is doing great without pulling. She's in good shape and will be fantastic in a leash with a little more practice. She's both chill and fun, napping when nothing's going on and ready to play the second the opportunity arises. She's doing good with house training, but you'll need to be her doorman, because she wants you to be the one who takes her outside.

She enjoys treats but isn't overly food motivated. She isn't a fan of the crate either, but she'll sleep in it if it's parked right next to her people. Location, location, location.

The pug is a small yet sturdy breed known for its charming personality and distinctive appearance. With a wrinkled face, curled tail, and expressive eyes, pugs are beloved for their affectionate nature and playful demeanor. Originating from China, these compact dogs have a smooth coat and require minimal grooming. Pugs are known to be excellent companions, suitable for owners of all ages due to their adaptable and social temperament.
