Devon’s tale is one of determination to escape adversity to heal & move forward.

This petite 8 year old girl pug escaped from a backyard breeder who was, quite literally, breeding her to death. She was skinny, malnourished & had other medical issues that were addressed surgically.

Since arriving at her foster “mom’s” home, she has known nothing but unconditional love & acceptance. Devon rapidly put on weight, healed from her surgeries, & blossomed into the absolute sweetest of pugs. She is happy & playful. Devon loves cuddles, snuggling with people or other dogs, even cats (if they will let her). She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.

This compact gal is a stunning example of what rescue is all about. Now all Devon needs is her forever home for the fairy tale ending she so richly deserves.
