Gemma (SAD STORY alert) - Portuguese Podengo Dog for Adoption in Hanson, Massachusetts

We finally have Gemma and 8 month old Podengo with us. She is a very poor thing and looking for a foster home or an adoptive home.
She has spent her life inside of a rabbit like hutch and has splayed paws and legs. She gets around just fine and will likely grow to be around 35 lbs. This poor girl was never socialized much with people and doesn't have that happy go lucky puppy spirit that you'd expect.
She is so afraid and hasn't wagged her tail just yet. She has no fear aggression, just horrified. She gets along well with cats and dogs and will do fine with respectful children.
She is looking for a foster or adoptive home that can work with her on walking on a leash, house training and socialization in general. We will give you all of the supplies, training and support that you'll need.
