Meet Mara!
Born on September 23, 2013, Mara is a sweet senior pup who knows that life is best enjoyed at a slower, more relaxed pace. This low-energy girl is happiest when she's getting cuddles, being held, and spending quality time with her people.
Mara loves her stuffy toys and proudly carries them around like her own little treasures. She enjoys the company of other dogs and would do well in a home with a canine companion. She also has a special friendship with Miracle, and while the two are not bonded and do not need to be adopted together, they could happily share a home if the perfect situation came along.
Mara is dog friendly, walks well on leash, and does not require a fenced yard. She would do best with children who understand and respect her senior status and can appreciate her gentle, easygoing personality.
With her loving nature, sweet spirit, and adorable habit of carrying around her favorite toys, Mara is ready to bring comfort, companionship, and plenty of affection to a home that will cherish her.
