Meet Little Bear!!
Bear is a 4-5yo 6lb toy poodle who was found sitting on the side of the road and no one could even tell he was a dog.
His hair was so dreaded he could barely walk. It’s impossible that anyone showed Bear any love or attention in a long time. He was in such a horrible state there’s no way he was pet or cuddled - it was heartbreaking to see him in such a horrible state. He was taken in by animal control and sent immediately for a grooming.
This little guy tolerated the shave down so well. He had welts, open sore on his legs and bilateral ear infections.
Even after all he has been through he was so eager and so content to be cuddled and loved.
He is vaccinated, chipped and his blood work and exam went great. He is scheduled for his neuter in stamford in September so adopter must be willing to bring him back for surgery.
Bear is a sweetheart. He is good with people and dogs and cats. He can be annoying initially with dogs when he is nervous he gets humpy. But that can be redirected.
He needs someone ok with maintaining a schedule with potty training and patience. He didn’t get a lot of attention and wasn’t outside on grass so he only uses the potty on concrete but he is learning.
Little Bear has had a rough go of it and he is looking for a quiet home full of love and cuddles- and regulate grooming!!!
