Scarlet is an adorable1 year old goldendoodle who is discovering just how wonderful life can be. Since arriving in foster care, she's become an expert at stealing hearts. Her favorite thing is snuggling with her people, and she's happiest when she's close by.

Smart, playful, and eager to learn, Scarlet loves her toys, enjoys a game of fetch, and comes when called both indoors and most of the time outside. Like many young dogs, rabbits and deer are simply too tempting to resist, so she should always be on a leash or in a securely fenced yard. Because she's so petite, she can slip through the bars of a standard metal fence.

Scarlet loves other dogs and would enjoy a playful canine companion who can keep up with her energy. She's still polishing her leash manners and has shown a strong prey drive by chasing cats, so she will need a home without cats or other small animals.

House training is progressing well with a consistent routine. Scarlet isn't a fan of the crate and does best sleeping in her dog bed near her people, as she has mild separation anxiety. Scarlet's ideal home is with a family that's home often and ready to make her part of everyday life. Because she's so small, everyone will need to be mindful of her underfoot.
