Here’s Your Quick Peek:
Jax is a sweet, playful Miniature†̄Poodle who came from a hoarding case in Pitt†̄County,†̄NC. He’s friendly, curious, and loves attention. He may seem a little nervous at first, but once he knows you, he’s affectionate and loves pets — especially chin scratches rather than over‑the‑head pats.
Must have: A loving, active home with patience and structure, Jax would benefit from a dog to paly with in the home.
Exercise: High — daily walks and playtime.
Best with: Dogs his size and adults who enjoy an energetic companion.
Not ideal for: Homes with very large dogs or limited time for training.
Energy level: High — fun, playful, and affectionate.
Jax is healthy, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He’s working on house training and leash manners and responds well to positive reinforcement. He is skittish of large dogs, but does best with dogs his own size.
Good with dogs: Yes — prefers dogs his size.
Good with kids: Potentially, with slow introductions.
Cats: Unknown.
Fun fact: Jax loves following his person around — he’s happiest when he’s part of the action and getting plenty of chin scratches.
Potential Adopters
Dogs can’t drive - and since we’re busy taking care of them, we can’t either! Please check your potential BFF’s location and make sure you’re comfortable traveling to meet them.
