At just 10 months old, McGruff is incredibly dog friendly and always ready for a game of chase, a wrestling match with his canine pals, or an adventure with his people. And weighing in at 26 lbs hes the perfect adventure buddy size.

McGruff is an attention enthusiastif youre handing out pets, scratches, or compliments, hes first in line! Hes crate trained, leash trained, and mostly house trained when kept on a consistent routine. Hed love a family that will continue helping him polish his puppy manners while showering him with the affection he craves.

McGruff came to MHCR from a local Colorado shelter after being diagnosed with a hip deformity. He underwent an FHO surgery and has recovered beautifully. Today, youd never know he had a rough starthe runs, jumps, plays, and keeps up with his dog friends without missing a beat.

He thinks cats are pretty exciting and enjoys chasing them, though his intentions are playful rather than predatory.
