Reba McEntire - Poodle Dog for Adoption in Los Angeles, California

If the words "empathetic" and "kind" could manifest themselves into a dog it would be our sweet Reba McEntire. At five years old, Reba found herself in a state or horrible neglect with her housemate and abandoned on the streets in San Bernardino. Due to her state, the shelter recommended she get immediate care and started reaching out to rescues. Our intervention counselor saw how shut down she was and couldn't resist giving her a chance at a fresh start.

Since coming into our care, Reba has nearly doubled her weight and oh boy did her personality grow with her appetite! She is affectionate but gentle, often acting as a support for other animals in need while in foster, and she seems to know exactly the right time to put her head in your lap. She would love to be in a home where she could embrace her living teddy bear energy and be an involved part of her family. She would likely do best in a home with another dog friend.

She is a calm and gentle soul. She walks well on a leash, loves being pet, and absolutely loves other dogs. We cannot emphasize enough how amazingly sweet and gentle this lady is. She is something special.
