Meet Romeo!
Romeo is an adorable Miniature Poodle who will celebrate his 1st birthday on December 30th. And just look at those gorgeous blue eyes!
Romeo came to Furry Kids as a breeder release because he did not sell. He can be a little shy and cautious at first, but he has already shown us that it doesn’t take him long to start feeling comfortable. He will approach people and is learning very quickly that getting attention and affection is a pretty great thing!
Romeo is also starting to discover how much fun it is to be a young dog. He is just beginning to play with toys, and we’re seeing more and more of his personality as he settles in.
He is currently working on housebreaking and will need his new family to continue helping him with his potty routine. Romeo will also need a securely fenced yard.
We would like Romeo to have another friendly, confident dog in his forever home. A canine companion will give him someone to play with, learn from, and help continue building his confidence as he adjusts to family life.
Romeo is a sweet young boy who simply needs a family willing to give him a little time to settle in. He has already come around quickly, and we think with love, patience, a canine buddy, and plenty of new experiences, he is going to make a wonderful little companion.
Romeo is ready to find out just how good life as a beloved family dog can be! â¤ï ̧
Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption.
Romeo has been neutered, wormed, microchipped, and is fully vaccinated. He also tested heartworm negative. If you are interested in meeting/adopting Romeo just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch.
