My Friends at Wayside say:
-I am from a puppy mill/hoarding situation. I will likely need extra time to adjust to home life. I have lived with other dogs but have not socialized with people. Things like walking on a leash and going through doorways can be challenging for me. Adopting me will be extremely rewarding, but I need time to learn.
-New people and things make me a little nervous. Let’s take things slow!

My home needs are:
-I need a home with kids 9 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises.
-I feel more comfortable around new people when I have a doggie friend to build my confidence. Wayside requires you to bring your dog with you when you come to meet me.
-I must go to a home that already has another dog so they can show me the ropes.
-A fenced yard is a must for me! I do not know how to walk on a leash, so I need a secure area to go out for potty breaks.
