Zinny - Poodle and Schnauzer Dog for Adoption in Hinckley, Illinois

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Zinny is a gorgeous, black, schnoodle....we think. She came into animal control as a stray and the vet thinks she is about 1 year old. She is a poodle mix of some sort but we think it might be schauzer. She is such a great dog. She was quite a mess when she came in, covered in fleas and very matted. She has been groomed and all her extra friends were evicted (external and internal). She is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. She is also crate trained, does pretty well on a leash, learning basic commands. She is great with dogs and cats. She is shy around people at first and we are continuing to work on her socialization. We don't know where she came from but she has a little fear of new people and so she needs someone who will continue to work with her to build confidence.
