Meet Pickles, the rescue's bundle of joy! At 18 months old, this neutered male is all about fun.



He's sweet, goofy, cuddly, and has energy to spare. Pickles loves playing with kids and other dogs, though cats might not appreciate his boisterous spirit.



His journey to the rescue?

A curious misadventure involving a squirrel, a series of hilarious jumps, and a confused pizza delivery guy who left the gate open.



Seriously he was a owner surrender that is moving cross country and couldn't take him with them.

Adopt local. We are a local White River Jct., VT, NH and Connecticut rescue. When you adopt from Survivor's Paws....you become part of Survivor's Paws family. A Survivor's Paws representative will meet you with your puppy or dog on the day of transport. We help you proper introductions with other fur members of your household. We offer love, support, advise and training throughout your puppy/dog lives. Become part of Survivor's Paws family and adopt from Survivor's Paws Animal Rescue.

You must be 21 in order to adopt from us. Please fill out the application on a computer, not a cell phone. We do NOT guarantee that you will get approved to adopt from us. We will be in contact with you as soon as we are ready to begin to process your application usually within 48 to 72 hours. The whole process can take a week or longer depending on how many applications we receive. Please understand we are volunteers, we work, have families and holidays on top of volunteering to save dogs on days off, evenings, and weekends.

We do NOT adopt to Massachusetts, Rhode Island at this time. All potential adopters with dogs must have them up to date on vaccinations, altered, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.
