Milo was a beautiful apricot standard poodle when his owner’s health meant they could no longer care for him properly. They found what they thought would be a loving home for him. Some time later, a friend told them they’d better check on Milo. They found him heavily matted and starved, so took him back and contacted us. Kristie and Ray carefully removed all of his mats - he had to be shaved down to his skin and he was so thin you could see every bone in his body. Milo has already put on some weight & is eating well, but will need to pack on a few more pounds before he can be neutered. His hair is also beginning to grow back.
Milo is 2 years old, energetic, and will be beautiful again once his hair grows back and he’s a healthy weight. He’ll be available for adoption once he has been neutered. The picture of him in the snow is how he looked before not being cared for.

Minimum requirements for adoption are an established vet reference and a secure (above ground) fence
