Meet Fiona!

Fiona is a lively 20-pound Poodle and Chihuahua mix who is approximately 10 to 11 years old. She is in very good health and still has plenty of playful energy. Her favorite toy is her beloved "hot dog," and she enjoys walks, boating adventures, playtime, and curling up for a good snuggle.

Fiona has lived with her current family since she was about six months old and is deeply affectionate with people. Unfortunately, she does not enjoy sharing her home with other animals. As the family's other small dog has become more medically fragile, Fiona's behavior toward him has become increasingly difficult, and her owners have made the heartbreaking decision to find her a more suitable home.

Fiona needs to be the only pet in her new home, with no other dogs or cats. She has had very little experience with children, so her comfort level around them is not well known.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

The Poodle is a highly intelligent and elegant dog breed known for its distinctive curly coat and graceful appearance. Originally bred as water retrievers, Poodles come in three size varieties Standard, Miniature, and Toy each with their unique characteristics but sharing the breed's alert and friendly nature. Renowned for their hypoallergenic qualities and keen sense of humor, Poodles excel in various dog sports and activities, making them versatile companions suitable for different lifestyles and living situations.
