DESCRIPTION
This is a tough story to read....if you are from our area, you know that Donald and Daisy were abandoned mid Sept on Crooks Ave - left in a small cage together, in the dark, on the sidewalk - we can only imagine what their lives were like before we met them. While we suspect they are brother and sister, they are not "bonded" and do not need to be placed together.
Both dogs are 2 years old, weigh under 25 lbs, both are fixed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Both dogs are also not well socialized at all; it took some time to draw them out, and they warm up quickly to people they see every day but can be slow to warm up to strangers. Both can be quite cuddly and have been working on their leash manners as well.
Donald is in Foster Care but Daisy is still with the Clifton Animal Shelter. Please watch the movie here for Donald and feel free to go read Daisy's listing as well! Please do an online application at CliftonAnimalShelter.com - thanks!
