Meet Ayla!

Ayla is a tiny Mini Poodle, around 10 pounds, with a gentle spirit and a story that deserves a fresh start. Born on 8/17/20 (5.5 years old), she spent her life as a breeding mama in a puppy mill and is now just beginning to experience what it means to be a dog.

Because of her past, Ayla is shy and a little unsure of the world around her. Everything is new-walking on grass, being outside, and learning to trust people. She's taking it all in at her own pace and will need a patient home that allows her to build confidence slowly.

Ayla does well with other dogs and is comfortable around them, but she does not require another dog in the home. She would be just as happy as your one-and-only or with canine companions.

She is not yet potty or leash trained, as she's still learning and gaining confidence. We are starting with pee pad training to help her begin the process. Her future family should be prepared to guide her through these basics with kindness and consistency.

Ayla can be picked up and held, and with her tiny size, she makes a wonderful little companion to keep close. As she continues to settle in, she will form a strong bond with her people.

Ayla is looking for a calm, understanding home that will give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved. Watching a puppy mill dog learn the world isn't so scary is incredibly rewarding, and Ayla is ready for that chance.

Ayla is fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $450.00.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
