A 2-year-old, 50-lb Bernese Mountain Dog with a gentle soul and a heart as big as her paws. After spending her early years in a puppy mill, she's beginning to experience what being part of a safe, loving family can be like.

Lacey may be timid at first but with patience and kindness her sweet personality will shine. She would do best in a calm home with a fenced yard to run and a confident, friendly canine friend to help her adjust to the good life. Lacery is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
