Meet Plushy! Plushy is a 7-year-old Toy Poodle/Maltese mix with the softest heart to match his name. Once he warms up and trusts you, he becomes your little Velcro dog—always close, always loving, and always ready to roll over for belly rubs (and yes, he’ll ask for them all day long!). His foster mom says he’s potty trained which is a plus. Plushy has had some health issues over the lat few months that have addressed by the shelter Vet. He will need Yeast Infection medication as needed. He is cleared up, but sometimes there is a chance that it comes back. He will need regular eye meds for life but its a smal price to pay for this cutie. Plushy nees to go to an experienced owner only and there should be no small children in the household, as he can be a bit bratty amd mouthly when he gets nervous and anxious. Don’t let his age fool you—Plushy has the energy of a puppy! He loves going for walks, running around, playing, and then curling up for cuddles. His tail is almost always wagging, especially when he’s greeting people or hoping for extra attention. Plushy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being around his people that he is use to. He can be left alone for short periods, but he truly prefers a home where someone is around most of the time—he’s happiest when he’s by your side. At home, Plushy is wonderfully cozy. He has a bed in each room and will tuck himself in when you go to bed—though he sometimes chooses to snuggle up with you instead. He’s also a big fan of squeaky toys, so get ready for lots of playful noise! When it comes to snacks, Plushy’s favorites are healthy ones—especially carrots and bananas. If you’re looking for a sweet but a bit complex, playful, affectionate companion who will shower you with love once he trusts you and knows you, Plushy is ready to be your new best friend.
