Scout is a gentle, loving dog with an easygoing personality. He enjoys his daily walks and is making progress on leash, although he can pull hard when attached to a collar, so his foster strongly recommends using a secure harness. Scout is food-motivated and a quick learner—in just one week, he learned sit and down, and he responds well to clear guidance. He is not a high-energy dog and is happy with a steady routine and time with his people. His foster reports that he does well with cats. His compatibility with other dogs has not yet been observed. Scout is ready for a patient, loving home that will keep building on the wonderful foundation he already has.

Included with adoption: spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate rabies and parvo/distemper vaccinations, deworming, and flea, tick and heartworm prevention.
