This sweet little guy was found as a severely matted stray and was brought to the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter in June. Thankfully, Awesome Paws Rescue welcomed him into a loving foster home, where he's been able to relax, feel safe, and begin his fresh start while waiting for the family he's always deserved.
It didn't take long for Alfie's true personality to shine! He settled into foster care quickly and has been a wonderful little houseguest. He has been living with another small dog and has gotten along with his canine companion. Alfie is crate tolerant, has had very few accidents in the house, and with a little patience and consistency as he adjusts to a new routine, he'll continue to do great with his potty training.
When playtime rolls around, Alfie is all in! He loves racing around the yard, chasing after his favorite toys, and showing off his playful side. But once he's burned off his energy, this little cuddle bug is happiest curled up on the couch, soaking up all the love and attention from his favorite person. Because his foster home doesn't have cats or children, a meet-and-greet will be necessary to ensure everyone is a great fit.
