Poodle and Maltese Dogs Available for Adoption in Westminster, Maryland

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All of the animals posted on our site have been temperament tested. While not all are in the immediate area, once we have processed and approved your application, we will move the dog to our adoptive area for you to meet, greet and hopefully adopt. Sometimes we will have more than one application on a dog. That does not mean it automatically goes to another family but you should be aware of the fact that until you are approved and set up for the meet/greet.. the dog could get adopted by another applicant.Nino is one sweet little Maltipoo and has already won over his foster in only moments! She says about him 'Nino is very well behaved and gentle. He has his own little personality but likes to cuddle up and receive attention. His fur is as soft as velvet! He’ll cuddle next to you on the couch but is also content to lounge on the floor next to your feet. Gets along well with other dogs. He’s a little shy with strangers at first but warms up very quickly.

Nino is a good eater and likes just about everything, including cucumbers and cauliflower! He enjoys exploring and walks well on leash. He is house trained and will go to the door when he needs to go outside.He sleeps well (sleeps on his bed on the floor but would probably like sleeping with his person if desired). Doesn’t demand to get up early (lets you sleep in if you want!)

Nino is crate trained although he doesn’t love it. He just needs some gentle encouragement (or a treat) to go inside. He doesn’t get into things he shouldn’t around the house so hurting himself or making messes should not be much of a concern.

This little guy is going to make someone a great, low maintenance companion! 'A ready made, well trained small guy, really the very definition of a companion dog. He was simply born for it and has mastered all the ropes! All he asks in return is love. If you have a stash of that to give, Nino is ready to be your good boy!
