Let us introduce you to our boy Reggie. At just one year old, this adorable maybe-Poodle / maybe-Maltese mix is the definition of a cuddle bug. While we can’t say his breed with 100% certainty, we can guarantee that Reggie is 100% sweetheart. If you’re looking for a dog who thinks your lap is the best place on earth, look no further—Reggie has already claimed it.

Reggie is a laid-back little guy who prefers naps and snuggles over high-energy adventures. He’s happiest curled up beside you (or on you!) and soaking up all the love he can get. That said, he does have a playful side—especially when it comes to other dogs! Reggie loves initiating play and can be a bit of a “let’s go, let’s go!” kind of guy, so he’d do best with dog friends who are tolerant of a younger pup who’s still learning social boundaries. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has even lived peacefully with a dog-savvy cat (they were best buddies!). He’d thrive as an only dog where he can soak up all the attention, or in a home with playful, easygoing canine companions.

This boy is smart! He is SO CLOSE to being 100% potty-trained - he does his business outside whenever he gets the opportunity and is only having a few accidents occasionally in his foster home. Reggie is crate-trained - he does great when crated when his foster family leaves the home. Like many young dogs, Reggie is still figuring some things out. He is brand new to leash life, so he’ll need a patient family committed to helping him learn at his own pace.

A fenced-in yard is a must for Reggie, giving him a safe space to explore, play, and burn off his bursts of puppy energy. Because quick sudden movements make Reggie nervous, he would do best with a home without young children - older, dog-savvy kiddos would be great!

Reggie doesn’t need much—just a cozy spot to nap, a loving human (or two), and a home willing to give him guidance, patience, and lots of affection. In return, he’ll give you endless snuggles, loyal companionship, and a heart full of love.

Reggie is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped and on preventatives - now all he needs is you!
