We want to make sure adopters understand that puppyhood is a lot of work. At this age, puppies need frequent potty breaks, consistent training, socialization, exercise, supervision, patience, and plenty of time and attention. They will have accidents, chew things, wake during the night, and need guidance as they learn how to be good family companions. Puppy care can be physically and emotionally demanding, and the commitment continues well beyond the cute puppy stage.
We want each of these babies to find the right forever home, so we encourage everyone to honestly consider their lifestyle, schedule, energy level, physical ability, and plans for the next 10–15 years before applying. For some people, an adult or senior dog may be a much better fit and can still bring tremendous love and companionship. Our goal isn’t simply to find these puppies homes—it’s to find them the right homes where both the puppy and the adopter can thrive.

Silky Terriers are intelligent and quick learners, excelling in training and agility activities. They require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious coat and should receive ample exercise and mental stimulation to thrive in a loving household.
