Faites connaissance avec Nemo! Nemo est un jeune Poméranien qui a été trouvé errant et qui, malheureusement, n’a jamais été réclamé. Bien que nous connaissions peu de choses sur son passé, il est évident que Nemo a manqué de socialisation et qu’il présente actuellement plusieurs comportements liés à la peur. Malgré ses craintes, nous voyons quelque chose de très spécial chez Nemo : il veut être un chien et découvrir le monde qui l’entoure. Il est curieux et désireux d’explorer, mais plusieurs situations sont encore très impressionnantes pour lui. Nemo aura besoin de temps, de patience et d’une famille prête à l’aider à développer sa confiance à son propre rythme. Puisqu’il est sous-socialisé, les autres chiens peuvent actuellement lui faire peur.
Toutefois, il démontre de la curiosité envers eux, ce qui nous laisse croire que le bon compagnon canin pourrait l’aider à prendre confiance. Si Nemo est jumelé avec un autre chien, nous rechercherons un chien stable, confiant et socialement approprié qui pourra lui servir de modèle et le guider, plutôt qu’un chien qui risque de l’intimider. Nemo est à la recherche d’un adoptant qui comprend que l’aider à surmonter ses peurs sera un processus.
Sa nouvelle famille devra faire preuve de patience, de constance et être prête à travailler avec lui tout au long de ses défis, tout en lui permettant de progresser à son propre rythme et de devenir le chien confiant que nous croyons qu’il peut être. Nemo n’est peut-être pas encore prêt à affronter le monde aujourd’hui, mais avec la bonne personne à ses côtés, nous croyons qu’il a tout le potentiel pour devenir le petit chien heureux et confiant qu’il souhaite être.

Meet Nemo! Nemo is a young Pomeranian who was found as a stray and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed. Although we don’t know much about his past, it is clear that Nemo has had limited socialization and is currently struggling with fear-based behaviours. Despite his fears, we see something very special in Nemo: he wants to be a dog and experience the world around him.
He is curious and eager to discover, but many things are still overwhelming for him. Nemo will need time, patience, and a family who is willing to help him build confidence at his own pace. Because he is undersocialized, other dogs can currently be scary for Nemo. However, he does show curiosity toward them, which gives us hope that the right canine companion could help him gain confidence.
If Nemo is paired with another dog, we are looking for a stable, confident, socially appropriate dog who can help guide him rather than overwhelm him. Nemo is looking for an adopter who understands that helping him overcome his fears will be a process. His new family will need to be patient, consistent, and willing to work with him through his challenges while allowing him to mature into the confident dog we believe he can become. Nemo may not be ready to take on the world today—but with the right person by his side, we believe he has the potential to become the happy, confident little dog he wants to be.
