Tumblr - Pointer Dog for Adoption

Tumblr - Apply to adopt at https://tinyurl.com/bdezz6kb

AGE / WEIGHT: 2.5 years old / 38 lbs

GENDER: Male

ENERGY: Moderate

GOOD WITH: Dogs - Yes, Kids - TBD, Cats - TBD

ABOUT ME: Fair warning: my first post is a little shy. Give me a minute to sniff around and I'll flop right over for belly rubs, which is basically my way of hitting follow. A truck driver found me and looked after me for a while, but her life is on the road and I'm ready for a permanent home base. Other dogs? I mostly sniff and keep scrolling. You, though? I'd reblog you forever.

MY FOSTER SAYS: I will arrive in Brooklyn soon! Badass will share more as soon as I’m in a foster home.

HISTORY
Tumblr was found as a stray in Georgia and cared for by a local good Samaritan until she could no longer keep him. He was boarding at a local vet's office until we met him. He will travel to Brooklyn in mid-October 2026.

MEDICAL HISTORY
The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.

The Pointer is a versatile and athletic dog breed known for its exceptional hunting skills and high energy levels. With a strong, sleek build and keen sense of smell, Pointers excel in bird hunting, especially in open fields. They are intelligent, eager to please, and make fantastic companions for active individuals or families who enjoy spending time outdoors. Their short coat requires minimal grooming, and their friendly nature and loyal temperament make them beloved members of the family.
