Anita - Pointer and Hound Dog for Adoption in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts

MEET ANITA — LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER FAMILY!

Anita is a beautiful, super-friendly girl, about 1.8–1.9 years old and approximately 35 lbs. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, incredibly gentle, trusting, and loves being around people.

Anita has done well with other dogs, and we actually feel she may be happiest in a home with another friendly dog for companionship. A family with children could also be a wonderful fit — more people to love means more attention for Anita!

She is an affectionate girl who really enjoys having her people nearby. She can become a little anxious when left completely alone, so we are looking for a family where someone is home often or has a flexible schedule. Another dog in the home may also help her feel more secure and settled.

Anita can fit beautifully into either a relaxed or more active lifestyle. Most importantly, she needs a family ready to give her the time, attention, stability, and love she deserves.

Her current owner is relocating soon and, unfortunately, is looking to rehome her. We want to make sure Anita’s next home is not just another stop — but her forever home.
