Ozzy is a happy, active puppy who is settling nicely into foster life and figuring things out quickly. He's the kind of pup who wants to be part of whatever you're doing-curious, engaged, and always nearby.
His foster shares that Ozzy is a total sweetie who enjoys playing with other dogs and is even trying to make friends with the resident cat (he may need a little guidance there, but the interest is friendly and playful). He's also doing really well with potty training and is very close to having it down.
Ozzy appears to be a pointer-type mix based on his build and markings-think smart, people-focused, and active. At his current size and age, we expect he'll grow into a nice medium-sized dog, likely around 35-50 lbs when full grown.
He would do best in a home ready for all the normal puppy things-playtime, continued training, and helping him grow into the great dog he's already showing signs of becoming.
If you're looking for a fun, affectionate pup who will keep you on your toes and by your side, Ozzy is ready to meet you.

ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pointer is a versatile and athletic dog breed known for its exceptional hunting skills and high energy levels. With a strong, sleek build and keen sense of smell, Pointers excel in bird hunting, especially in open fields. They are intelligent, eager to please, and make fantastic companions for active individuals or families who enjoy spending time outdoors. Their short coat requires minimal grooming, and their friendly nature and loyal temperament make them beloved members of the family.
