DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Ember — a beautiful Plott Hound mix with a heart full of love!
Ember came to us all the way from Alabama after wandering onto someone's property and being shot in the leg. Even after going through this trauma, this incredible girl greeted animal control with a wagging tail when they arrived. At the vet, the staff quickly fell in love with her sweet spirit—and thankfully, her injury ended up being only a graze.
Ember is truly a special soul. She is gentle, well-mannered, and unbelievably loving, with not a mean bone in her body. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has a friendly, medium-energy personality that makes her the perfect companion for adventures and cozy evenings alike.
Ember has already proven how strong and forgiving she is. Now she just needs the one thing she's always deserved: a safe, loving home where she'll never be hurt again. Apply today and don't let this one get away
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
