Paxton - Plott Hound Dog for Adoption in Siloam Springs, Arkansas

Meet Paxton — Your New Adventure Buddy!
Paxton is a handsome Plott Hound mix with a gentle soul and the sweetest manners. This wonderful dog came to us very underweight and in need of care, but even from day one, Paxton showed just how special he is. Someone clearly invested love into him at some point — he arrived already knowing commands like sit and lie down, and he has been nothing but polite, calm, and eager to please.
Now that he’s safe with us, Paxton is gaining weight and strength every day. He was already neutered when he arrived, and he will be fully up to date on vaccinations before going home.
Paxton has so many wonderful qualities:
• Well-mannered and gentle
• Leash trained — walks beautifully by your side
• Kennel trained — settles quietly and comfortably
• Smart & attentive — loves learning and responding to cues
• Interested in wildlife — he enjoys alerting to squirrels and birds on his walks, suggesting he may have had some exposure to hunting activities in the past
Despite his tough beginning, Paxton’s spirit is bright. He enjoys being outside, exploring, and staying close to the people he trusts. His tail wags, his eyes soften, and he soaks up every bit of kindness offered to him.
Paxton is now ready for a caring, committed family that will continue helping him thrive. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a loving heart and excellent manners, Paxton just might be the perfect match.
Come meet Paxton — he’s so ready to start his next chapter.
