Meet Macchiato! Our 1 year old, 32 pound, male, Plott hound mix. A playful and bouncy boy who's always ready to turn an ordinary day into an adventure! Much like his namesake, he's the perfect blend of energy, sweetness, and charm. Whether he's zooming around the yard, or happily greeting everyone he meets, Macchiato approaches life with an infectious enthusiasm that's impossible not to love.

Behind all that fun-loving energy is a heart full of affection. Macchiato loves spending time with his people and is always eager for attention, pets, and companionship. His cheerful personality, goofy antics, and loving nature make him the kind of dog who brings smiles wherever he goes.

Walk-ins are available from Tuesday to Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Saturday and Sundays have walk-in hours from noon to 4 PM. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance
SPCA, please come during open hours. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.

ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $275 for puppies under 6 months of age and $225 for dogs older than 6 months. $175 for kittens under 6 months of age and $150 for cats older than 6 month
