Pretzel, his mom and 11 siblings were dropped off at the shelter when they were only six weeks old (BD: 9/6/26). After two weeks in the shelter, they were transferred to their foster home where they all have shown to be happy and playful pups. They love people and want to be near their humans or other dogs. They will require consistent expectations and training as they mature into adult dogs. Due to their age (and sharp puppy teeth) they probably would not be a good fit for small children under 5. They also should not be routinely left alone for more than 4 hours at a time.
Pretzel is not yet house or crate trained. He has begun his vaccinations, but will require more. He is de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and micro-chipped. This puppy will REQUIRE A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD. No apartments or condos for this dog please.

HOW TO MEET: This sweetheart may be at the Livonia PetSmart on Saturdays from 11-3. Come up and meet this cutie and/or other pets. The Livonia PetSmart is located at South East corner of Middlebelt and I-96 at 13150 Middlebelt Rd Livonia, MI 48150. It is located in the back of the Meijer and Costco Parking lot. Our pets are in the back-right hand side of the store past the grooming and vet clinic.
WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ANIMAL YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION EVENT. Please email us if there is a specific dog you would like to meet to be sure they will be at the adoption event. We ask that you DO NOT contact PetSmart about our animals. They are kind enough to provide space for our adoption events, but are not involved with our rescue work.

IMPORTANT: An application must be filled out and approved before we will make special arrangements to meet a dog. A volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions then your application may not be processed. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
