This handsome one-year-old Pitbull mix has come full circle and is more than ready to find the forever home he truly deserves. Born right here at the shelter, Calisto was adopted as a puppy, but through no fault of his own, he's back with us and hoping his next family will be his last.

Through it all, Calisto has stayed resilient, affectionate, and full of love. He's at that perfect age where his playful puppy energy meets a growing eagerness to learn. He's incredibly loyal and just wants someone to call his own -- someone who means it when they say "forever."

Calisto absolutely loves other dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion, though he'll do best with slow introductions to help him manage his excitement. He appears to do well with kids too, but because of his energetic and sometimes jumpy nature, a thoughtful introduction is recommended.
