About Cordelia
Cordelia is an approximately 2‑year‑old Pit Bull with a soft, gentle soul. Dogs like Cordelia are often known for their affectionate and people‑oriented nature, and she shows that in her own quiet, tender way.
Cordelia was found as a stray and was struggling with severe ear infections at the time. She has since received vet care and is now healing well and feeling more comfortable. While her history is largely unknown, her behaviour with us has shown her to be sweet, sensitive, and kind‑hearted. It may take her a little time to feel safe with new people, but once trust is built, she becomes very affectionate and playful.
Training & Support
Cordelia tends to be shy in unfamiliar situations, especially when meeting new people. Giving her time, space, and gentle encouragement allows her confidence to grow naturally. She responds best to patient, reward‑based training that emphasizes reassurance and positive experiences. This approach will support her emotional growth and help her continue to build trust and confidence in her new environment.
Ideal Home
Cordelia would thrive in a quiet, loving household that understands she may need a slow and gentle transition. She enjoys going for walks and would appreciate a home that includes her in daily routine. She has done well around other dogs, though her experience with cats and children is currently unknown.
With consistency, patience, and plenty of love, Cordelia’s true personality will continue to shine, making her a deeply loyal and rewarding companion for the family lucky enough to call her their own.
