Trixie is a 2 year old, Spayed Female, Pit Bull mix!
Are you seeking a family pet who has it all? If so, Trixie might be your girl! She's the perfect medium size at just 42 lbs. She has never met a stranger and loves with her whole heart. She came to us from a situation where she was loved but her owner found themselves overwhelmed with too many dogs. She had 2 litters of pups before she was 2 and was an incredible mother. Now it's her turn to be the center of attention! Trixie should do ok with other dogs but may need some time to adjust. She may also do well with dog savvy cats. She loves children and will do well in a family setting.

If your application was approved and you received a call back from the Humane Society of Macomb for a meet and greet, plan to take the animal home that day. We cannot place puppies/dogs on hold to come pick up for another day.
