COURTESY POST – THIS IS NOT A PETRESQ DOG. PLEASE CONTACT OWNER FOR MORE INFORMATION:
Meet Snoopy. the issue is that my college aged daughter adopted a 1 year old mixed breed male on a whim from a shelter in PA six months ago. She lives in student housing, has no income, and really isn't supposed to have a dog in her dorm. He is fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
He is housebroken and crate trained. He walks on a leash.
He has been spending a good amount of time at my home here in NJ since the daughter didn't think things through.
I already have a dog of my own who prefers to be a solo dog so this is stressing him as well. I work full time and have a fragile sick elderly family member in the home.
I don't have time to adequately train my daughter's dog.
He's a nice boy and cuddly and has lots of potential. He does well with some dogs (just not with mine) I do not know how he is with children. He would need someone with time and patience to take him on long walks and train him. Outdoors, he still needs to learn not to react to other dogs and strangers by barking jumping and lunging. He should probably have a fenced yard.
