DESCRIPTION
Meet Hootie! Hootie is the oldest of the six dogs that came to us from a less-than-ideal situation, at around 5 years old. While he may be older, he still has plenty of life left in him and deserves the chance to finally enjoy being part of a loving home.
Hootie spent most of his life living in a kennel and will need time, patience, and understanding as he adjusts to a new life. Because of his background and needs, we are requiring that Hootie go to an experienced owner who understands large dogs and is willing to work with him.
He keeps his kennel clean for the most part and is slowly learning that people can be kind and life can be more than just four kennel walls. Hootie deserves someone who will allow him to finally be a dog — to explore, relax, and know what it feels like to truly belong.
With the right person, Hootie has the potential to become an incredibly loyal companion.
