Kamilla - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Stratham, New Hampshire

Kamilla (approximately 60 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. This affectionate, friendly, and charming girl is an exceptional companion whose calm, gentle personality shines wherever she goes. She is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, and was a superstar at off-site adoption events in Texas. Kamilla greeted everyone she met with a constantly wagging tail, happily accepting affection from adults and children alike. She was exceptionally good for her veterinary exam, adding our veterinarian to the Kamilla Fan Club. Kamilla prefers the company with humans over the company of other dogs. While she is non-reactive on leash, she has no interest in engaging with other dogs and will set firm boundaries with dogs that try to interact with her. Her foster parents believe that Kamilla would be happiest as an only dog, although she could probably live with another calm dog who has no interest in interacting with her & who respects her boundaries. What Kamilla really wants is her own person or family to cuddle with her, play a little fetch, and take her on walks. This smart girl learns commands quickly and would happily soak up any training. She also loves lounging in cozy places and has been known to voluntarily nap in her crate! Whether she's strolling quietly by your side, soaking up attention from new friends, or simply relaxing with the people she loves, Kamilla is a truly special dog whose kind heart, impeccable manners, and loving nature make her an outstanding companion ready for her forever home - come meet her today!
