CANYON IS LOOKING FOR A FOSTER HOME

Hey, everyone! It’s me, Canyon!

I’m currently hanging out in a temporary foster home, and while I’m very grateful to have a soft place to land, I’d really love to find a long term foster home of my own.

I’m a senior gentleman, but don’t let my age fool you. I’m still very much enjoying life!

I absolutely LOVE my daily walks and am happy to spend 30 to 45 minutes exploring, sniffing all the important smells, and enjoying the fresh air. I can be spunky and playful, sassy and silly, and I have plenty of personality to keep you smiling.

Of course, I’ve also perfected the art of retirement. Give me a sunny spot for a good afternoon snooze or a cozy place beside you for some serious snuggling, and I’m one very happy guy.

Basically, I’m looking for someone who appreciates a dog with a nice work life balance. A good walk, a little silliness, plenty of sunshine, and lots of snuggles sounds just about perfect to me.

There is one important thing you should know. I need to be the only dog in my foster home. I’d also like to stay in or near the Boise area so I can remain close to Green Heart Rescue’s veterinary team.

Green Heart Rescue will continue to provide my approved veterinary care and nutritional needs. You provide the safe home, companionship, walks, and love.

I’m looking for someone who has room in their home and heart for a wonderfully sweet, slightly sassy senior guy who deserves to enjoy every single day.
