Irene - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Springfield, Missouri

The name Irene means "peace," "calm," and "serenity" in Greek. In mythology, Irene was the goddess of Seasons and Natural Order, the beautiful lady that holds the over-flowing cornucopia, the horn of plenty!
This little Pit Bull Terrier mix is named for her sweetness and her calm brown eyes, and is ready for her peaceful, loving home this fall in time for Thanksgiving. She's adorable, friendly, playful, and so intelligent, but she is still only 5 months old, so she needs a bit more training to hone in that cleverness. If you're ready to welcome another cute little friend into your heart, come meet Irene!
