Take a chance on Chance! This handsome 9-year-old, 48-pound fellow is looking for a special place to spend his golden years.

Chance has a beautiful brindle coat and an even sweeter wish list: a comfy couch, a loving person to rest his head beside, and a peaceful home to call his own. He does well with other dogs, but cats aren't his thing.

Chance has had two tumors removed, and the prognosis is excellent. Now he's ready to put that chapter behind him and enjoy the good life he deserves.

Because of his age and laid-back lifestyle, young, active kids aren't his favorite match. He'd do best with someone who appreciates the slower pace of an older dog and wants a loyal companion by their side.

All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.

Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality.
