Meet Bubby!

At just 1 year old, Bubby has already overcome more challenges than most dogs face in a lifetime. Despite everything he has been through, he remains one of the sweetest, most loving dogs you could ever hope to meet.

Bubby came to us after some kind-hearted strangers witnessed him in a heartbreaking situation and stepped in to help. They saw Bubby being thrown from a balcony, causing severe injuries to one of his legs. Refusing to turn a blind eye, these compassionate individuals took him in and made sure he received the medical care, safety, and love he desperately needed. Unfortunately, due to the extent of his injuries, Bubby ultimately required a leg amputation at such a young age, making him our adorable little tripod.

While his story could have easily left him fearful or withdrawn, Bubby has proven to be incredibly resilient. He hasn't let his past or his missing leg slow him down one bit. In fact, Bubby approaches life with enthusiasm, joy, and an endless supply of love to give. He is a happy, affectionate boy who absolutely adores people. Whether he's cuddling up on the couch, playing with his favorite toys, or soaking up every bit of attention he can get, Bubby is happiest when he's spending time with his humans.

Bubby is dog-selective, so we require a meet-and-greet with any dogs he may be living with to ensure they are a good match. We are currently unsure how he feels about cats, but we would be happy to cat test him upon request.
