DESCRIPTION
MEET SKY. Pretty Pup was originally raised here at the shelter with her littermates (known as the Paw Patrol) by a devoted Pittie mama. SKY has been returned to us by her adopter with the hope that someone else might be in a better position to give Sweet SKY all she needs to be everything she was meant to be. Her sweet sensitive nature suggests she has already seen love, and she is ready to fill a heart and a home again. Please consider walking this rewarding journey with this lovely little lady, waiting to meet you in our doggie dorm.
BCSAPS is open Mon-Fri 10-5 and Sat 10-2.
BCSAPS operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with adoptions beginning at 10 a.m. If multiple individuals are present at the shelter at 10 a.m. and are interested in the same adoptable animal, a lottery will be conducted to determine which individual will have the first opportunity to meet the animal and proceed with the adoption process. Visitors arriving after 10 a.m. will be assisted in the order in which they arrive.
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
